Connect New Devices

To get started with OurPact’s management, you will first need to pair your child’s device using our Connect pairing application on your computer. Pairing with Connect is a quick and easy process that allows you to fully take advantage of all of OurPact’s powerful management features.

What will you need for pairing?
● Your child’s device and a USB cable to connect your child’s device to your computer
● A Mac (Catalina or higher) or Windows 10+ computer
● Your child’s device passcode, if one is set up. (This is only required to unlock the device after it restarts during pairing.)

On your computer, go to connect.ourpact.com and download the appropriate version of the Connect application for your computer.

After you download the Connect application on your computer, open the application, select PAIR at the top, choose iOS or Android, depending on your child’s device type, and then press START.

You will be asked to log in with your account information, and then the Connect application’s on-screen instructions will walk you through every step.

If you are pairing an iOS device, you will need to turn off Find My Phone on your child’s device. Don’t worry, after your kiddo’s device has been successfully paired, you can turn this Apple feature back on. If you are pairing an Android device, you will need to turn on Developer Options to enable USB debugging. The Connect application will show exactly where to go in the Settings to do both of these actions.

During the pairing process, you can create a new child profile or pair the device with an existing one.

Once you have finished pairing your child’s device, you’ll see their profile on your app dashboard and can now create management rules. The companion app OurPact Jr. will also be automatically sideloaded onto your child’s device.

Management can only be removed with your account login information, so your child will not be able to remove it. If management is removed for any reason, you will immediately be alerted!
